Y’all, 58  acres and four bedrooms built in in 1812! The wallpaper and woodwork  alone is dreamy— sure, it’s going to need some loving and attention, but  with 58 acres you could even build something new! 40 mins from #springfieldma and 2 hours from Boston.

Hey find your  farmhouse friends, where are my off grid folks looking for something  out west? This house is off grid cabin in Colorado on the bank of the  Indian River —- it’s got solar and propane as well as a wood stove and a  greenhouse. It needs some finishing and the upstairs could be split  into two bedrooms rather than one big one— but I think it’s got a ton of  potential!

This one is in a county that boasts growing the best watermelons in the south and this property has some gorgeous old oak trees. It has 5 bedrooms and was built in  1939. Plus its address is on Welcome Street (which just sounds SO happy!) It’s not perfect since it’s going to need some TLC and a new roof, but still it could be somebody’s farm house!

According to the realtor this 4br/1.5 bath has a motivated seller and will be taken off the market to be winterized by October 31st so if you’re serious, don’t sleep on it. It was built in 1810 and has wide pine floorboards, original beams, plaster and really fun vintage wallpaper. It’s 2.2 hours from NYC and less than an hour from Hartford. If one of y'all buy it I want to come  see it when you’ve fixed her up! What would you keep if she was yours?

It’s over our usual price range, but the view totally wooed me and IT IS RURAL. 😜Also, it’s a work in progress, so if you’re a DIY-er this could be yours. I love the windows and that it’s got two fridges for less frequent trips to town. It’s 2br & 1&half baths according to the listing.

I feel like with a really good pressure wash an updated flooring situation this barnhouse could be magical. 4br/2baths, a shop, a generator for bad weather, and it’s in one of the top rated school districts in the state,  and just a hop, skip, and a jump down to New Orleans or the gulf coast beaches—- what’s not to like?

This part of the world is one of my faves ANY season of the year. This 4br/3bath house built in 1890 is RIGHT UP IN that neck of the woods and is being sold in an online auction that started last week and goes until Oct 9th.
